Post subject: | Application Error |
Hello. Whenever I attempt to start the game, I get this error message: Quote: This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem. The problem here is that I've reinstalled a minimum of seven times, and the error message is unchanged. Any help? |

Try deleting Settings.ini, and should that fail, tell us your operating system, and where CC is installed. |

It seems I cannot find anything called Setting.int. The files I can see are as follows: Cortex Command.exe.manifest fmod.dll libcurl.dll Microsoft.VC90.CRT.manifest msvcm90.dll msvcp90.dll msvcr90.dll And several folders inside the folder, which I assume are files for in game objects. I'm currently running a Windows XP operating system, and I've installed Cortex Command in a folder on the desktop. |

I went in that folder, and deleted a file called 'Settings' (It's called a Configuration Settings file, I assume that's what Ini means.) Absolutely no change. |

Are you trying to open it in an unusual way? Does this problem occur with any other programs? |

I'm just double clicking on the Cortex Command Icon inside the folder. This is the first time I've seen an error like this. |
