Yes I've seen the countless posts about the resolution trouble but this is sorta different...

I re-installed CC on my computer after I dropped it and had to get the hard drive replaced. However when I booted it it was windowed. Going into options I found the 2x button at 2X but pressing it just made the screen flash black. Now upon changing my resolution to my monitors (1300x768) and restarting...how do I put this...

The window became small and purple...
And upon uninstalling it and then reinstalling this wont go away. It just keeps booting with sounds. When I move the mouse the sounds for the buttons...sound which means the games working just not the graphics.

My Question is that can I get the purpleness to go away or am I stuck just not playing CC. On the old hard drive the game worked fine and I in fact had alot of mods in it. Im not sure why It broke now but...ya. I am fine with a smaller res I just want to play the game.
