Okay so I was playing CC just a day ago and I noticed a little lag and thought meh it's nothing. I get on today and it kept crashing because of something to do with the sprites file in the ronin.rte file. So I go to see wtf is wrong and this happens.

Now I go to the properties of the stupid file to change the security and notice this.

I backed up all the game files in case I installed a mod or something that messed up the game and sure enough the game itself just seems to have broken or the file corrupted or idk.

Now finally I went in to see if I still have administrative control over the file and it doesn't even have an owner to the file.

I didn't get a picture of it but also when I go to see the properties of the file it says theres nothing inside of it, just says 0 bites, 0 files in folder.

What can I do to fix this if anything, the game is probably playable if I install it to a different spot but I still want this stupid problem fixed.

Just move Cortex Command to your desktop/My Documents/Somewhere not in programfiles.

Oh god crop those images, we don't need to load your whole desktop, we only need the error.

You need to do the following to the Cortex Command Icons on the Desktop and the Start Menu

Right Click Cortex Command Icon > Click 'Properties' > Click 'Advanced' > Click (Check Box) 'Run as Administrator' > Click 'OK'

This solved all my problems :)
