Ok, I was making a scene for my starwars mod that I am making, and the game crashed. So I tried to start it back up and an error message came up that said, Empire.rte/Scenes.ini error at line 3. So I deleted my mods folder and now this pops up:



I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it still is having that same error. Can someone help me fix the please?

And there is no Scenes.ini in the mod folder.

Is there an Empire.rte in the CC folder? Delete the whole folder if there is. (A folder with nothing inside makes it crash).

If not, then look in the Base.rte Index.ini for any references to Empire.rte.
Or look elsewhere for references to Empire.rte by using windows/mac search.

The mod folder was not in the CC folder, so I searched for empire.rte, and there was a broken shortcut left in the CC folder, so I deleted it. I tried to run the game and I still get the same error.

Also, the game tries to load Empire.rte/Index.ini even though it doesn't exsist.

YES! I fixed it, I searched again and there was a folder left behind in appdata, I deleted it and it works now. Thanks for your help.

That is really odd that a folder in AppData would trigger this kind of an issue.

You should send a PM to Data to tell him about this.
