I think I had that problem once. I didn't get it at first, so I asked for help, and realized that half of my settings.ini was deleted.

I had to reinstall it to get it working. Reinstall and see if that helps. If it does, try to back up your files.

Occasionally, Cortex likes to eat it's configuration file for whatever reason. Easiest fix is to reinstall and also keep a copy of your config file to copy and paste whenever it eats it.

Hey there, just installed b25 and having the same problem as op except in metagame.rte/index.ini

First thing I did was check against a clean install and index.ini is the same, did a clean reinstall but still get exactly the same problem.

The thing is it was working before it crashed so I must have all the libraries or whatever that it needs
