ok so i recently lost my licensing jey and requested a new one. i downloaded the latest playable version of cc from the data realms home page and put in the key. Ok now its not working. when i register it still only plays build 23 and when i exit the game and restart it, cc becomes unregistered. Also to register it again i have to go into the cc folder in program files and unregister there. Can anyone help?

The latest version on the website is B23 so it'd make sense that that's what you're playing. Not sure why you're having the random key problem, do you have a funky internet connection?

If you want the latest playable beta, check this topic. It does not require a key so that will remove your key problem, though you want to keep that in case the key system comes back.
