| Post subject: | b23 freezes at title, b24 fine? |
I recently got a code to download b23 after I heard that it has less issues with random freezes.(as I've been having alot of issues with B24.) B24 will run fairly well for a while, and then freeze randomly. When I attempt to run B23 the game goes through start-up, and when I try to click past the cinematic to the title screen, it goes to the title for an instant and then closes. no error or anything. I've tried the standard fixes (reinstalled, moved onto desktop) and no change. I'm running on a amd phenom2 quad core 945 with 4 gigs of ram on a 64 bit w7 machine. |

Have any mods installed? What folder did you install the game in? |

I don't have any mods installed, no. The installation directory is on the desktop. |

Not sure if it helps, but try to install your game(s) in C:\Games (so you have a nice uncomplicated overview of your installed games) instead of dropping your applications in your profile folder (e.g. your desktop folder). Better yet, create a different partition to install your games on. |
