Post subject:  Xbox controller on Mac OS

I've got a wired Xbox 360 controller attached to my Mac using version 0.09 of Tattiebogle's driver. The driver presents the controller as a standard USB controller, with the following axes:

1. Left stick X
2. Left stick Y
3. Right stick X
4. Right stick Y
5. Left trigger
6. Right trigger

The only axis that appears to do anything is axis 5, which appears to be bound to X and Y for the mouse cursor. So when I pull the left trigger, the cursor moves diagonally down and right, and when I let go it drifts to the top-left corner of the screen.

How should I deal with this? Is there any way to change the axes that CC uses for input?

Ironically, Tattiebogle's driver for Mac OS is a lot better than the Microsoft driver on Windows. With that one, the triggers share the same axis and cancel out one another's input when you pull them at the same time.

In any case, the situation is probably nothing to do with the controller itself because it's worked for me for everything else. I'm guessing Allegro on Mac just doesn't handle things properly, or CC hasn't implemented it correctly.
