Hi Guys,
I got my old Freestyle Pro Gamepad out and plugged it into the USB port via an adapter.
Most of the game works fine but one thing is messing up the fine gaming experience, its the buy menu.
Somehow the gamepad fails on that. Left right is fine but up and down is fuzzy.
Would some calibration software help?

I use windows 7.

regards,
metalray

Could you define fuzzy?

Hi,
I hope the following makes it clearer:
Left and right works in the buy menu, going down most times as well but going up means it jumping up within half a second and then down to the lower item again. pressing up for a long time means I rush through the whole menu and end up somewhere wrong. buying weapons this way is almost impossible. getting the green detonator took me 5 minutes.

Try recalibrating your gamepad, it sounds like it's going down slightly when you release it.

Hi Roast Veg,
do you mean calibrating in Cortex Command or with some Win7 SideWinder Freestyle Pro calibration software (I havent gotten any)

Not knowing exactly how your gamepad works I can only guess, but by the sounds of what is happening your gamepad thinks you are pointing slightly upwards when you have released the stick. If this is not the case I would say that it isn't compatible with CC.

EDIT: This was my 1000th post ever.
