Mouse pointer moves up by itself in the main menu
When I start the game, the main menu appears after the intro, as it should. But then the mouse pointer moves continuously up by itself. It only happens in the main menu, ingame everything works perfectly. When I move the mouse it snaps right back to where it would be if it hadn't been moving up by itself.

You've got a gamepad connected and one of the joysticks is pointing upwards.

Re: Mouse pointer moves up by itself in the main menu
Thank you! This is correct: I had a Extreme 3D Pro joystick connected. I wonder why the game takes the input and reads it as pressing up when the joystick is in the default position. Must be some kind of lack of support, though to be fair I don't know if using a joystick is the ideal tool for this game.

Gamepads are pretty fun actually. I'd call it even with mouse control because it gives you better maneuvrability, whilst mouse control is more accurate.

I meant this: It's more suited for flight simulators than 2d sidescrollers.

Yeah I know, I was just talking about the fact that joystocks can be used
