getting error when starting up CC
when i start up cortex command i get an error screen saying
Abortion in file .\System\Reader.cpp, line 531, because:
Wrong type in Reader when passed Serializable::Create() in Base.rte/Settings.ini at line 184!
The last frame has been dumped to 'abortscreen.bmp'
i have no idea what to do...

Your settings.ini is probably destroyed. [aka eaten up & blank due to cc's randomness] Back up mods, reinstall. Or request a settings .ini.

well i won't be able to reinstall because when ever i'm downloading something it'll stop download at a random spot and i have to pause and start it again but when i try that with CC it won't work...

Just a friendly tip, don't double post but edit your original post. Also, there are already several threads about this matter. Try searching before you post. And you don't need to write like that, this isn't instant messaging. It makes a big difference in the general attitude towards you if you write like that.
