MacOSX: right mouse button doesn't work
Cortex Command doesn't appear to understand right-click on OSX. I've tried both an external logitech mouse (no funny drivers, uses builtin OSX drivers..) and the internal trackpad (two-finger-held + tap). Neither one does anything in the game.
However, control-left-click does seem to activate the in-game menu. A bit inconvenient to hit however. Did you forget to hook up the right-click action in the game on MacOSX or something?
I've got a MacBook Core2Duo from 2007, running OSX 10.6.4, in case that helps.

Re: MacOSX: right mouse button doesn't work
The only way I've been able to right click in OSX is by hitting ctrl + click. The mouse may need to be configured in your OSX settings and/or you Cortex Command settings.
Double post merge -Duh
I believe you do need to use the "Funky drivers" in order for the right click to work right. Otherwise, it's probably just not configured in the settings of Cortex Command. I recommend you get drivers, (If applicable) and set up the mouse in CC's settings.

Re: MacOSX: right mouse button doesn't work
It's broken, barely ever works, and I've never been able to recreate the success on more than one machine. Drivers usually make it worse, but CC handles things separate from the OS too, so it's hard to say. I've had mice work until I gave them drivers, then refuse to ever work again even on a fresh install of the game and with the driver removed.
Even mapping the right button in a mouse driver to "click + control key" often does not work, usually because of the way the OS interprets and passes the buttons and keys.
Edit: Mice that have worked without drivers: Wacom Tablet (using mouse with five buttons and a wheel) Microsoft Mobile Memory Mouse 8000 (generic bluetooth + usb dongle with storage) Logitech idon'tevenrememberwhatitwas Generic Microsoft Laser Mouse (four buttons and a wheel)
All of these stopped working when either the Wacom or Microsoft drivers were loaded, the logitech one I don't recall the failure for.

Re: MacOSX: right mouse button doesn't work
That seems a bit strange, as drivers are meant to fix things and make them work properly, no? Please explain this to me. I mean, the drivers part. I remember trying B23 on an old iBook and it worked rather well (with the mouse)...

Re: MacOSX: right mouse button doesn't work
Drives are good, but some drivers work better than others. In this case, the generic drivers work better than the manufacturer's drivers, because the manufacturer's drivers don't have the code for right click(or it's broken), but the generic ones do.

Re: MacOSX: right mouse button doesn't work
My personal theory is that the manufactures have re-invented the wheel with regards to mouse interaction, for example the wacom drivers override the system mouse position to get better accuracy, and have a tendency of not working with games that use the system-level "set mouse position to X,Y." This means that the mouse is able to be moved outside the screen and clicked on something else. Or else worse, its data is interpreted as a velocity and becomes a virtual joystick to the game.
Generic drivers don't do that, and just tie USB messages to system events and leave it at that.
