got this game from the humble indie bundle, and I must say it is very fun, played it on my other computer. However I am trying to install it on an older 2003-4 Vaio laptop and I get this error when I try running it : This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. I have tried reinstalling but it gives the same problem. Anyone know how to fix it? I have tried running in compatibility and administrator, neither work. Please help

What operating sys? Win 7 or Vista?
