 Volume issues when running b24

Post Volume issues when running b24
Hi everyone,

Whenever I run Cortex Command the main volume increases and decreases rapidly. In some cases, moving the mouse pointer seems to make it worse. Even after I exit the game it fluctuates from muting itself and maxing the volume for about a minute.

I'm running Lucid 64bit on an HP Pavillion dv4, Intel G45 sound card.

I'm wondering if I'm missing some dependencies or if this is a bug of some sort since I'm running b24. Any ideas?
