Im starting to think this is why Data didnt want this to be released just yet, Your better off waiting till the initial release of B24 and these types of problems will most likely disapear. I cant help you but just wanted to through my nickel out there. |

I'll test the mac build when I get the opportunity, and see if I can't replicate your issues. |

I have the same model and the same issue as you, but I've been able to find out what the problem is. Turns out it's the GPU switching. Apparently, if the nVidia GPU isn't already active when you try to go fullscreen, the game tries to invoke it while going fullscreen, and this somehow triggers a crash. (This also results in a crash when trying to launch the game in fullscreen mode with the Intel card active.) Solution: trigger the GPU switching before going fullscreen. I recommend using gfxCardStatus to do this manually (it lives in the menu bar, shows you which GPU is active, and allows you to switch GPUs manually). If you don't want to do that, you can always open up any app that triggers the switch (Grapher, iPhoto, Photo Booth, Keynote, etc) or just disable automatic graphics switching entirely in the Energy Saver pane of System Preferences (though I don't recommend that). |
