Re: Problem when starting CC.
Find Abortscreen.bmp, in the same folder as Cortex Command.exe. Find the last mod that was loading. Tell us its name. Open the file that was loading last. Find the line that mentions Coalition.rte/Devices/RPGs/RocketA.bmp. Change it to Coalition.rte/Devices/Sprites/RocketA.bmp.

Find the line that mentions Coalition.rte/Devices/RPGs/RocketA.bmp. Change it to Coalition.rte/Devices/Sprites/RocketA.bmp. Okey the last thing that was loading was: ''Devices/Weapons/Launchers/RPG.ini'' And in that file, ''Coalition.rte/Devices/RPGs/RocketA.bmp'', doesn't seem to exist. Instead it is already written: Coalition.rte/Devices/Sprites/RocketA.bmp. Here's what it says: '' AddAmmo = AEmitter PresetName = Particle Coalition Rocket Launcher LifeTime = 2000 Mass = 4 GlobalAccScalar = 0.3 RestThreshold = -500 HitsMOs = 1 GetsHitByMOs = 0 SpriteFile = ContentFile FilePath = Coalition.rte/Devices/Sprites/RocketA.bmp ''

Do you have any mods installed? Have you tried again since?

Re: Problem when starting CC.
Found your problem, one of your mods is probably using that sprite, but it ain't there anymore. Recreate the folder then paste in the sprite that has the same name.

Re: Problem when starting CC.
I already knew that was the problem man.
Anyway, look into each of those mods and see if there is a file at Devices/Weapons/Launchers/RPG.ini. One of these mods has a file at that path which has the incorrect name. Fix it as I said in my first post.

Not a problem. Which mod did it turn out to be, by the way?

Re: Problem when starting CC.
I'll make a fixed version and request it be added to the topic then. Watch this space. Working version here, for future reference.

Re: Problem when starting CC.
Once again I'm faced with a problem, this time on my friends cortex game. FYI he has a older cortex version. were everything is more or less overpowered. So I ''helped'' him to download a couple of mods, Whitty's Wonderful Mods *Version 9.2* and Dummy Expansion to be more precise. And here's what comes up after starting: --------------------------------------- Aborted (x_x) Abortion in file .\system\ContentFile.cpp, line 549, because:
Failed to load datafile object with following path and name:
Base.rte/Effects/Glows/GreenSmall
The last frame has been dumped to 'abortscreen.bmp' -------------------------------------- The even bigger problem now is that the abortscreen.bmp doesn't pop up... Also none of the mods show up aswell...
