I am aware that CC doesn't use the graphics card, but that was the only way I could explain it. I can play the game for a while, but all of a sudden this happens: When this happens the entire computer is screwed up with the same graphical artifacts all over the screen. Not that it matters much, because it locks up anyway, so I need to reboot the hard way. The first time this happened was when I tried out the trial. I had just changed the resolution from the default setting. Have tried several resolutions, but those I have tried crash like this. It does take at least 15 minutes before it happens though, and sometimes I can play for an hour without anything happening. Anyone have any idea how to fix this? Is there |

If it happens for the entire computer it might be heat issues, try running some heat monitoring programs while running CC. Otherwise I don't know |

Might be? I ran Speedfan for a while to test: My computer on idle. This is after five minutes or so of gaming This is after fifteen minutes. After that it didn't go up at all, so not sure if the temperature is the problem. It is usually around that, and sometimes a bit over it when playing. |

Does it do that in both fullscreen and windowed mode? |

Those temps are excellent. Nothing wrong there. Maybe it's a memory error, you can use memtest to test your ram. |

Yes. When in windowed mode I also see that the mouse is scrambled, as well as everything else on the screen. But it's not as severe then, so I can make out things a lot better. But it still happens. It's really weird. |

Sorry for the double post. Didn't see your post there Gromuhl. I actually ran one of those thorough tests a few months a go. The kind you have to boot from a CD and stuff. Had it on for 6 hours or so. I could of course check with that program. Going to do so now. EDIT: Ran the test for about 40-60 minutes or so. No errors. So I doubt that is the problem as well. This is so weird. |
