Re: Gamepad problems
You have to plug it in before you open up Cortex Command.

Re: Gamepad problems
Did you instal drivers for it? If so which ones did you use, and if not google search it, download and instal them and tell us if it fixes the problem.

Re: Gamepad problems
Ive had a driver since the start, at least i think it is. its works by pluggin the gamepad in then running an exe file which opens a cmd windows for a split second!

Re: Gamepad problems
That doesn't sound like anything I've had to use before. Can you post a link to where you dowloaded it from? And does the controller work on other games?

Re: Gamepad problems
have you set the thing up already? options-> controls-> will then ask for dual analog or buttons something.

Re: Gamepad problems
I use a Saitek-P990 My problem whenever one of us presses the FLY or UP button, if your aiming, your aim is sent back to your char, so sniping is a pain in the ass using it.

Re: Gamepad problems
I think sniping probably would be pretty hard whilst jumping/jetpacking.
Not a problem with your gamepad, that is just how it is coded.
Edit: Ninja'd by Ben. Ah well.

Re: Gamepad problems
I think he means this:
Player 1 is aiming down the sight.
Player 2 uses jetpack.
Player 1 is no longer aiming down the sight.
