   |   Infinite XP Boot HangupsI kinda turned off my computer when playing CC, and it is, uh, broken. It's running Windows XP, and when it tries to start normally, it makes it halfway through loading the OS before it stops and restarts. If I try it in any of the safe modes, it loads drivers, makes it to mfehidk.sys , and then freezes and restarts again. It's not spitting up a BSoD, and I can't find any option in BIOS related to skipping BSoD's, so I don't know if there is any easily googled fix. Can anyone help?

Problem is, the computer in question is kinda a school computer. The kind that are within 2 years of age, and can actually play games.

   |   Re: Infinite XP Boot HangupsTell a teacher that the computer is broken and that some one needs to fill in a work order. Or you could try to fix it your self.

   |   Re: Infinite XP Boot HangupsKick it until it works?
Seriously, I had an ancient machine that ran Windows '98. When it would freeze or something, I would kick it and it would work again.

Yeah but for real though, just be like "Hey I was using the computer for *insert school-related thing here* and it started acting weird".
