Cortex Command on Win7
Hello everybody. I have a problem with cortex command on windows 7.
When I try to run it it says that msvcp80.dll is missing. I've searched that file at the windows folder and found it at C:\windows\winsxs\... several times. Seven files or so. After that I copied one of them and paste it at the cc installation folder it says that another file is missing. (second msvcp80.dll worked) msvcr80.dll I also searched and copied that file but its still not working...
Any ideas?

Re: Cortex Command on Win7
I've tryed that one but the error is still there.
It looks like it worked to install it into the Programm Files folder (not the Programm Files (x86) folder where I installed it previously).
But it running very slow and it is lagging like hell. My system is: Intel Core 2 Dou T6600 - 2.2 Ghz NVIDA GeForce GT 240M 4GB Ram DirectX 10.0

It just hates some computers, installing in program files also causes problems for a lot of people. You mentioned you installed it to program files, instead of a different program files folder, try installing to the desktop, I don't know exactly how it'll affect speed, but it can prevent future errors.

take it out of program files and change your deltatime for better performance.

I am running Windows 7 and it works fine for me, there is no reason it shouldn't work fine for you. I have my copy installed on a folder in my desktop, it solved a lot of my problems.

Read this excellent guide on how to minimise lag. Explanations within.

Re: Cortex Command on Win7
Okay I've tryed to change the deltatime but it does not work for me. It always start lagging after a few second. Here is a screen before lag: Attachment:

An this is after a few second: Attachment:

This happens with a deltatime of 0.05 and the standard value. With a daltatime of 0.005 it starts lagging in the menu, too! But I've noticed something. I don't have the error with those .dll files anymore. On the first stard (after installing it) it says that he couldn't find my resolution and start in windowed mode on 640x480 (or 800x600). Maybe CC isn't using my grapiccard but my cpu for rendering?! Already installed the newest driver update.
