...nearly everytime I play, in fact. It wont go bluescreen or anything, it'll just freeze. Then to close it I have to use Ctrl-Alt-Del.
Thing is I don't know what's causing it. I don't (think) I have that many mods, and I'm not running like 7 other programs during it.
Can someone please help me find the problem and solve it?

If it helps: The only thing I run during it is google chrome.

How many mods is "not too many", and which? Some mods are less stable than others.

Try taking all of them out and see if you have a performance or stability boost. Some of those sound like they may be b22 mods, and even if they work in b23 they may be buggy.

Alright, is there a way I could take them out without actually deleting them off my computer? I'd use winrar I'm guessing, but how?

You can just put them into a folder. Cortex will not read .rte's that are anywhere but directly inside it's folder, so dropping them into an "off" folder will disable them.

Also, you shouldn't have chrome open while playing, CC eats your processor by itself, the internet being open is just a recipe for disaster.

[<<has Firefox open while Cortexing]
Depends on what you're doing with your browser.

Erm...
I once had Opera open with enough tabs open to fill up more than a gigabyte of ram, causing display errors when I attempted to right click. Whilst running Cortex Command.
If you have the RAM for it, you can pretty much do whatever you like bar stress testing.
Same for CPU, essentially.

Lemme guess. It only freezes during skirmishes, and only when an actor hops out of a craft. I had this same problem, no idea what really caused it, but I blame Godly Descent. I fixed it by reinstalling CC, after that it worked fine, even with all of the same mods.
