Abort on load
When I open cortex command, it comes up with the error shown on the attached picture, I already tried uninstalling/reinstalling three times but it still comes up. I have been playing CC for a while, and it just randomly came up...

Re: Abort on load
Missing lots of stuff. Reinstall and begin making backups of settings.ini whenever you make a change to it.

Re: Abort on load
I already tried reinstalling it though, twice from my original setup file, and once after I redownloaded it, so I dont think it will help... I will retry though.. Will edit with what happens.

Re: Abort on load
I get a similar problem.
Abortion in file .\System\ContentFile.cpp, line 508, because:
Failed to load datafile object with following path and name:
Base.rte/GUIS/Sounds/MenuEnter.wav
The last frame has been dumped to 'abortscreen.bmp'
That's the error I get. I'm pretty sure it's because my computer lacks a sound card. Is there any way I could delete or edit code so that the game doesn't have to load sounds?

Re: Abort on load
Try again later or try again after a restart. That works a lot of the time. Also, does your computer have speakers of any sort?
