Post Abort on load
When I open cortex command, it comes up with the error shown on the attached picture, I already tried uninstalling/reinstalling three times but it still comes up. I have been playing CC for a while, and it just randomly came up...

   Fullscreen = 0
   NxWindowed = 2
   PostProcessing = 1
   PostPixelGlow = 1
   PixelsPerMeter = 20
   PlayIntro = 1
   ConsoleScreenRatio = 0.4
   DeltaTime = 0.0166667
   RealToSimCap = 0.075
   HSplitScreen = 0
   VSplitScreen = 0
   DefaultActivityType = GAScripted
   DefaultActivityName = Zombie Cave
   MaxUnheldItems = 25
   EnableParticleSettling = 1
   EnableMOSubtraction = 1
   SoundVolume = 41
   MusicVolume = 100

Missing lots of stuff.
Reinstall and begin making backups of settings.ini whenever you make a change to it.

I already tried reinstalling it though, twice from my original setup file, and once after I redownloaded it, so I dont think it will help... I will retry though..
Will edit with what happens.

I get a similar problem.

Abortion in file .\System\ContentFile.cpp, line 508, because:

Failed to load datafile object with following path and name:

Base.rte/GUIS/Sounds/MenuEnter.wav

The last frame has been dumped to 'abortscreen.bmp'

That's the error I get. I'm pretty sure it's because my computer lacks a sound card. Is there any way I could delete or edit code so that the game doesn't have to load sounds?

Try again later or try again after a restart. That works a lot of the time. Also, does your computer have speakers of any sort?

I did, but when I downloaded the game somewhere else, it stopped working shortly afterwards. Also, re-installing from here doesn't work either.
However, I downloaded the game on my other computer and registered it there. It works fine now.
