I need help. Today I decided to make a one handed SMG. I edited the default SMG code, I did that right, but my game failed to read the Adddevice part, and I had to cut it from the game. Then it crashed on devices.ini at the SMG part. I cut that out. Next, it crashed on the sprayers part. I hadn't even opened that folder!!!

My game is giving out random errors on the devices in base. Is there a way to fix this, or do I need to reinstall.

NOTE: This is why you do not edit essential folders without backing up first.

It takes about thirty seconds to .rar up the essential CC folders, and about twenty seconds to fix them after that, versus minutes to download, install, and fix the game.

Also, these lines must look "exactly" like this. By "exactly" I mean case sensitive:

^Main Hand Version (Usable with a Shield).

^ OffHand Version (Takes place of a Shield; Can use with Main Hand weapon.

I copied and pasted the code to make sure I got it all right. The weird thing as I said before was that it was crashing on things I hadn't touched. And intead of crashing on the one handed code, it was crashing on the entire device code. It was weird.

Well, I'll back up my files more often. I reinstalled, and everything works fine again.
