Post subject:  Issues with Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit

I just got my new laptop a few days ago and one of the first things I wanted to do, besides finally being able to write my college paper, is play Cortex Command. I bought the HP Pavilion DV7 Laptop, and it's really awesome, my Source games are BEAUTIFUL! Now I just want to play Cortex Command.

My Specifications:
AMD Turion™ X2 RM-72 Dual-Core Mobile Processor
4GB DDR2 Memory
Multiformat DVD±RW/CD-RW drive with double-layer support
320GB SATA hard drive (5400 rpm)
ATI RADEON HD 3200 graphics RS780M

Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit (Service Pack 1) <--- Updated to SP2 yesterday

My Problem:
When I start Cortex Command Build 23 it will play the intro movie and then crash to the desktop without error or notification of any kind.

My Attempts to Fix:
Browsed the forums for a related issue
Reinstalled Cortex Command
Updated to Service Pack 2
Updated GFX Drivers
Reset GFX Settings to "Use Application Settings"
Repaired my Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64)
Attempted to run from an external media source (USB External HDD)
Enabled/Disabled Microsoft User Access Control (USC)
Set the application to emulate Windows XP (SP2)
Tried to run the application as Administrator
Tried running the application with the Vista sidebar closed.

So it's your turn Tech Support.

Try installing .Net framework.

My laptop came with .NET Framework 3.0

I reinstalled it too and it still doesn't work.

I am having this sort of error too, it doesn't crash, it is just very and I mean VERY slow.

I am on MS Vista Ultimate (32bit) have 1GB of ram and have .NET framework 3.5 ( I am a developer so I always update the framework! )

Please help!
