 System Error on line 194 Error message goes as is.
Abortion in file .\System\Reader.cpp, line 531, because:
Wrong type in Reader when passed to Serializable:: Create() in Base.rte/Settings.ini at line 194!
I wait for replys of help.

Re: System Error on line 194 where can i get a backup and do i have to unregister the game before i uninstall it? because if so i cant it wont even let it open.
Reinstalling didnt work.

Re: System Error on line 194 you can just go to the 'cortex command' folder and click unregister to unregister it without running cortex command.

Re: System Error on line 194 I had the same problem.
I fixed this problem by re-installing Cortex Command into a folder of my own creation that was outside of Program Files.
Just make a folder on your desktop anywhere else and install it to that directory.
Apparently Vista has trouble with file permissions when files are loaded from Program Files.
