You prolly accidentally deleted it without knowing and now you can't run it. Its in your CC folder.I think.

Anways, reinstall CC.

How frustrating, still getting the error after a clean install.

What build are you using? B23 doesn't even use MSVCP80.dll, it uses MSVCP90.dll

I don't know why, but this happens with a lot of indie games I download. It might be a glitch, a bug, or *gulp* a virus, but I think the main fact is that the file is overwritten/outdated. Some people are careless with their programming and might tell the program to request a certain file, which is fair enough, but then others may tell their program to update/replace ALL the files with the name, not specifically the one in their program directory. Consequentially, another game may have messed with the MSVCP80.dll/90.dll, so CC has suddenly found a different/reconfigured file which doesn't make any sense to it any more where a compatible one used to be.

Anyway, aside from this long rant about code from someone who can't code, it's probably best just to download the file again and stick it in the CC directory, OR, download the game again. You may have a corrupted archive.

Yes, I'm making no sense at all, am I? Sorry.
