Post Combatibility problems
As soon as i click CC its says c:\programs files\data realms\Cortex Command.exe
this application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem.

Reinstalling doesnt fix this. I am running Windows xp service pack 2

You require the latest .Net framework update.
If you don't know what that is then try wikipedia.
