Post RTE Aborted
Here it is

Abortion in file .\System\Reader.cpp, line 531, because:

Wrong type in Reader when passed to Serializable::Create() in Base.rte/Settings.ini
at line 184!

The last frame has been dumped to 'abortscreen.bmp'

I have no idea whats wrong and I checked settings.ini but to no avail.

Coming of God may have ♥♥♥♥ you Settings.ini up.
Reinstall or replace with a fresh Settings.ini.

That doesn't make sense since it was working fine like two days ago. And the aborted message comes immediately after I load CC and not during.

Btw, anyone have a fresh settings.ini for me or maybe info on where to get one?

That's not a settings.ini error, that's a majorly ♥♥♥♥ mod error.

Remove the .rte suffix on mods one at a time until it starts working, then re-add them in until it stops.

Delete offending mod.

Reinstall or replace with a fresh Settings.ini.

If you exit out of the game while Godly Descent is running, (with all the meteors, trippy effects, and gravity) It'll mess up your settings.ini

Ninja'd by Grif.

I was going to suggest that until Coming Of God popped up. But it is probably better to try that first.

Ah well I haven't used Godly Decent in a while and I'm still not convinced that its a mod error since all the mods were working fine before.

I'm actually sure its 100% not a mod problem because the rte aborted comes up right after I open CC without showing the load screen

Its says in the notes that it might ♥♥♥♥ up your Settings.ini
So, one day it works, the other, it doesn't.

Line 185 of Settings.ini is a keymap for P4 controll scheme. After it, there are like 10 more keymap lines and that's it.
If those lines are missing, which seems that they are, CC will not load.

Reinstall CC. Just plain reinstall. And keep a backup install. Always keep one (You don't need to actually install another one, you just copypasta the CC folder).
