I think this is because I was messing with the ronin soldier in edit and I messed it up, argh.

That said, you're referencing something that does not exist at the time that particular line is loaded.

Post Test.ini, either as an attachment or on rafb.net/paste

Simple reason:
The file you described includes Ronins, which are loaded in Ronin.rte. However, the scene it is crashing on is loaded in Base.rte. Because Base.rte is loaded before Ronin.rte, the game is crashing because it hasn't loaded the Ronins yet. So basically, open Base.rte/Scenes/Test.ini and remove all the lines making reference to Ronins and see what happens.

Re-installed, easy fix.
