Post Unable to delete Cortex Command folder.
I'm trying to reinstall CC but I can't delete the folder because it's write-protected. I didn't make it that way. Is there a way to make it so I can delete it?

Unlocker.

That utility uses system hooks or something to delete files.

This is why I never install anything in Program Files, even on XP.

What does it say? If its something like "This folder/file is being used by another program, gtfo" then the unlocker must be able to kill all the processes within it.
I suggest you try it again.

And a good ol' restart works usually too.

Err, uninstall.exe? Or does Vista block that too? Try right-clicking the folder and unchecking the read-only checkbox and apply that to all the subfolders and stuff.
