CC won't start, no error, no process.
Hello there, Terribly sorry to bother you but I have a bit of a problem. I very much like this game and I bought my key several months ago and have played many hours of CC, However, I came to my PC today only to find that CC simply won't start. There is no error message at all and no apparent process being run when I double-click the executable. I have reinstalled without deleting, re-installed AFTER deleting, Tried every possible combination of compatibility modes/resolutions and any other fix I can think of. I last played CC yesterday, since then I have changed no software or hardware on my system.
My computer's specifications are: Abit A-S78H AMD64 Phenom 9500 quad running at stock settings 4gb DDR2 800mhz 128bit mode XFX 9600 GSO 1gb Creative X-Fi Windows vista ultimate x64 with all latest patches and updates Latest DirectX distribution Latest Drivers/software for graphics card and sound card
As I said, I have changed nothing since last being able to play the game so this is really rather confusing to me and any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much.

The game takes up a helluva lot of memory to run, so maybe youjust don't have the required stuff. Have you added anything to your computer lately?

Re: CC won't start, no error, no process.
I have solved the problem, how embarrassing that I had struggled for several hours to find a solution and then find one just after asking for help. I am terribly sorry for creating a useless topic.
The problem was stemming from my display drivers (Not graphics adapter, the actual display) having updated silently and having certain options set to on by default instead of off like I had set them.
Well, I will instead make this a warning post; If you use an iZ3d stereoscopic display then you MUST have the driver software set to "Disabled" as opposed to "Enabled" or "Enabled by button" or CC will not start at all.
Again, I am sorry to have wasted any time with this thread and I am ashamed for not having found the solution before making this post.
Thank you.
