So I just bought the game, and it rocks, as far as i know. I mean, I've only played the left half of the tutorial, so I wouldn't know for sure. But that's where my problem is, see, if I play for a while or try to buy something or take a couple of steps into enemy territory, my computer freezes. Completely frozen, doesn't respond to keyboard or mouse, only fix is a reboot. Not sure what information I can provide would be relevant, but I"m on a quad-core machine running Vista Ultimate 64, 8 gigs of ram, plenty of HD space, two 9800 GX2's... Not sure what else to tell you, any thoughts? |

I tried it again, as I am a glutton for punishment, and this time the sound and mouse stopped responding first (tight sound loop, couldn't let go of the trigger or aim elsewhere) but my keyboard kept working for another 10 seconds before it froze completely. This might be helpful to someone, I dunno, I'm just trying to give information here. -=edit=- Reinstalled it, that didn't help. Or maybe it did, this time it crashed and gave me an actual error instead of a reboot. Application Error: oxc0000005 at 000743aec |
