I have a lot of mods for CC [just so you know!] When I die and go back to my brain, I usally go straight to the buy menu. I tried to AS soon as I died, I got the select menu up, clicked the buy menu, and then the game freezes. I can minimize it and go back to it fine. In the task manager it says it's running fine! But i waited for a while to see if it'd go back to normal, but when I came back it was still frozen. Any reason why it does that? |

This happened to me, too. After this occurring a few times, my CC wouldn't start with some error about the reader and Serializable::Create() and Base.rte/Settings.ini. |

The game doesn't freeze when I access the buy menu from my brain. With everyone else it crashes. |

It crashes no matter what type I use. If i'm too fast = crash. If too slow = the AI gets in and kills me. |

It doesn't matter how fast I do it. What mods do you have? I'm starting to suspect Unitec. |

This problem always has a source in a mod. If you're using Unitec with a mac, and have recently fixed all the loading problems you can, then buy menu freezes is its last way of spitting on your shoes. Just remove all your mods and then put them back in 1 at a time, keep loading every one. If the buy menu freezes on one of them, remove it. It's that simple. |

Ok thanks! I don't have Unitec though... Thx 4 the help! deleting mods now! [EDIT] Thank you again! I deleted the mods like you said and it worked! |

NO problem. It's not just unitec that has this problem. Try it out btw, I'm sure I posted a fixed ver of the latest version somewhere... |

YOU posted a fixed version of the mod??? but you cannot mod(or did some1 else made it)... i am not sarcastic of want to get to a fight but you said than you can not mod... |

I found a fix! my funds were too high which was messing with my buy menu. I had like 100000000000. I don't know what I was thinking. Now I use 1000000. |

you can try a mod than adds a unit than generates income... |

Try those gold spheres if you want tons of cash, they generate it at a ridiculous rate. |
