This is really pissing me off right now. I cannot skip the intro without the game quitting on me. I use an iMac running 10.5.6. I did ty other keyboards, but they do the same thing. Any idea what causes this?

Have you tried pressing the space bar or enter/return key instead?

Well, I think the obvious problem here is that you're pressing Esc to skip the intro when Esc is the key that quits the program, at least when it's at the main menu.
