Post subject:  Keyboard controls don't work!
I recently downloaded Cortex Command b22 (for mac). And I'm unable to play the game, as the keyboard controls don't work . The mouse controls work fine, and I can buy stuff just fine. But I'm unable to switch between playable characters, or move. Or use any of the controls on my keyboard.

Oh, and I'm using the demo version of the game.

Well, seeing as how the people on this forum who have only 1 crash out of 10 plays act compared to those, that have 7 crashes out of 10 plays.

You're pretty much screwed until Data gets off his ass and fixes a game he broke.
Maybe try build 23, every key you press will crash CC.

If you buy Data's game it don't matter, your just paying him to kick you in the balls.

Did you configure the controls to use the keyboard? It's under options.

Maybe if you played more attention by taking your head out of your ass. You would see that the problem is, as always with build 22.
The keys on "the Ops" keyboard, specifically YOU CANNOT USE KEYS that are NOT letters. So your stuck with A-Z and the default keys.

Oh hey. The control keys are the same and work the same way.
Copy the old key mappings from an old Settings.ini.


If YOU had taken YOUR head out of your ass, this problem has already been looked into a solved.

Would I be able to have the normal WASD keys for movement, Q and E to change between playable characters, and mouse to buy/aim/shoot please?

What!? I bought the game to support it, and now I can't even play it till build 23 comes out. I also had all my builds worked out, B14,B18,B21.

Installing build 22 or 21 f*cks up everything, as I said before on the forum... don't do that. Learn from my shitty mistake and preferably don't get B22 because it suffers from schizophrenia.
