I happened to accidentally overwrite it, and now CC won't even start.
So, if anyone could just post the stuff it uses I would love it.

Just reinstall. Back up your mods. (although you shouldn't have to)

I did that, but it still gives me the error.
This doesn't make any since, how is it still calling for that file?
I had a few weapons I made which were in base.rte, which I manually put into a new .rte for my collection of edits.
Keep in mind that this is an entirely new base.rte than the one where this problem first occurred. As far as I can tell, it is unaltered, too.
An entire new CC, too, and still this problem occurs.


Found a solution:
Vista was being Vista, and I had to look in the "compatibility files" part to find the .ini which was causing it all.
