Sorry, I know there's a lot of people asking for help with "RTE Aborted!", and I don't mean to be a nuisance. But, I need help with this. It says:

The last frame has been dumped to 'abortscreen.bmp'


I'm running on the latest build with no mods at all, just recently got rid of all of my old ones

I would appreciate it if someone would help!

And also, I tried doing 'Copy null.bmp from base.rte to the devices folder'.

The message means that you deleted the wrong .RTE's or their files. The files Coalition.rte, Dummy.rte, Ronin.rte, Missions.rte, and Tutorial.rte automaticly come with CC when you download it. What you need to do is Unregister your key, remove your current messed up CC, and re-download.

Go to the CC directory. If you just pressed "Next, I Agree, Next, Install, Finish" during the installation without bothering to read a thing and you don't know where you installed it, open "Run" from the start menu and type "C:\Program Files\Data Realms\Cortex Command" without the quotation marks. Than find "Unregister.bat" in the CC folder, not the Base.rte folder, and open it. wait a little bit and your key will be automaticly unregistered. And please remember to write down your key.
