I had that problem on vista,

CC was installed in program files, but vista doesn't allow alot of changes without direct admin priv's
I moved my complete CC dir out of the program files folder to the desktop, and it worked like a charm.

I will be very calm here. You are thinking of CPU speed.

1. RAM is measured in mega and gigabytes.

2. One does not simply upgrade CPU speed.

JESUS ANALLY VIOLATED CHRIST WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥ WAS THAT. No seriously what the ♥♥♥♥ that is the dumbest ♥♥♥♥ I have ever seen.
RAM is digital storage, like a hard drive, but faster, but smaller. It's where things that need to be accessed faster are put. Your CPU is measured in ghz. That's a frequency btw.
