As I have been lurking in these forums a long time, I finally decided to register.

I have two simple questions, and yes, I searched multiple times.

First of all, I want to know that is there any way to disable enemies from spawning? I am asking because I like to create some kind of scenarios, well someone could call it machinima, so I don't want AI to ruin everything and leave their craft junk everywhere.

Secondly, is there a way to disable sound when you gather gold? I am using processors so supply my gold needs when creating these scenes and that sound is driving me nuts. Slooooooowly. And I don't want to modify prices because I often play survival against CPU so it would be hella work.

Well, thanks in advance, my text can sometimes be confusing.

As far as I know, there are two ways to stop the AI from spawning. You can either: A. Mess with your Activities.ini, but that changes it for every scene, or B. Put a very strong roof on the top of the scene, but that makes it so you can't spawn guys for yourself.

As for the gold sound, that's hardcoded, so you won't be able to change that.

Here is a blank activities, with no enemy spawns.

Remember to backup your original activities unless you know what to change to get the enemies spawning again. (Also, the activities includes some raised starting funds, they are now 10000oz. Sorry!)
As for the gold sound, what Tim said. No changing it.

Thanks for the replies guys!

So it seems like that I have to raise funds from activities.ini (I'm not just sure if it's enough) or create processors and then destroy 'em (wait no, those are brains).

Also, thanks for the blank activities, it sure helps! Ceiling-suggestion was also helpful but I like to spawn teleports. Guess I just stick to blank .ini and try to figure something. Huge thanks to both of you!

In your NORMAL activities, set spawn interval easiest to ZERO.

Set the spawn interval hardest to whatever number. preferably what it used to be.

That way, if you select easy difficulty, no enemies will spawn, but the others they still will.

Err...
Actually, that doesn't work. That will just spawn enemies every 0 milliseconds, which means the sky will be full of exploding dropships.

BUT you can set the SpawnIntervalEasiest to 999999, so they will spawn rarely on easy. Or just use my previous method.
