Every time i launch up the game the menu, and everything else runs fine but usually, it lags a lot for blowing up ships and little for clones that i kill every time. I don't know if its just the game or my computer but i have tried restarting the computer. My computer is a Intel(R) Core(tm)2 cpu, 6600 @ 2.40GHz with a NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT. |

Well, my proc, which is a nifty 1.6ghz, runs the game pretty good. I cant see why a dual-core would lag when destroying DS's or killing troops, its not THAT meny particles after all. Do you have any background processes running that take much CPU power? How about closing explorer.exe to gain more speed? Since its safe. That's all that comes to my mind at the moment. I hope I helped (not really). |

Ummm... Don't close Explorer.exe. That is windows. Also, CC doesn't have support for dual cores. Also, if it's vista, then there are probably all kinds of background processes. Google to find a list of ones you can end. |

Good lord I've gone over this before. Explorer.exe is the windows file manager. You can run programs and shut it down quite safely. It'll eliminate a decent chunk of CPU usage as well. When you shut down windows you can run new tasks quite easily; ctrl alt del, file, new process! Amazing science! |

Also, for some people Ctrl + Alt + Del goes to this stupid menu thing, were you select to shutdown your computer, sleep, hibernate, or go to the Task Manager (It's that way for me, not sure why). So I just use Ctrl + Shift + Esc. |
