Hey, I have a really quick question. Whenever I'm playing it will go great for a while, and then my screen will just minimize. I can always open it back up, but it's still kinda annoying. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks. |

Err... let me just get some clarification. You're just playing and all of a sudden Cortex Command minimizes? If so then you're probably hitting the Window key. |

No, I am certain that I am not hitting the windows key. I can just lean back in my chair, and Cortex Command does the minimizing for me. |

Hmm. I assume you're playing full-screen, but could you confirm? Edit: Also post any other information that could come in handy. |

Yeah, I'm playing full screen. Something that might help is, it kind of minimizes, but kind of doesn't it goes straight to the desktop, but in the taskbar, it still shows it as active. |

Maybe something happens on the desktop? Like one of those icons in the bottom right wants your attention or something. Vista or XP? |

The only time I've ever seen a window minimize itself without becoming inactive on the taskbar is when there's a virus at work. I have never seen Windows do it. So I suggest a virus scan. The particular viruses that cause this sort of thing, if I recall correctly, will only start shutting down programs or the computer itself if you let it go too long. Of course, there's a 50% chance it is something else, but it's still better to check the computer out anyway. |
