I'm still super confused. Your gamepads work, but joysticks don't?

The directional pad on the controller works, and the buttons, but the actual joysticks don't, if I'm interpreting it right.

Is it an official or unofficial controller?

Here's what I'm saying.

None of the buttons are set automatically. --I don't know if Cortex Command does this but when I start the game nothing is set on the controller. That's all that means.

So I go to manual config and the first thing they want me to set (after picking dual analog) is joystick up. I can't do it. I can't set the joystick to anything and I can't set the other joystick to anything. Every other button can be set.

The joysticks can not be set. That's all. I've said that.

It's an official Xbox 360 controller. I am on a Mac and using unofficial drivers since that's all that exists.

On the options screen, change it from "Controller 1" to 2, 3, 4 etc and try it like that. My p1 controller plays under "Controller 2" ingame, and it won't respond with any other setting.

Alright. Alright. I get it. You're messing with me. You have surely got to be fucking with me at this point.

I give up. It's not important anyway. Still a fun game :)

No, I'm honestly ♥♥♥♥ confused. That fix has always worked for me. My email is alphagamer774@gmail.com. Email me or catch me on gtalk. It's easier when we can exchange actively.

I'm over 9000% sure it's because you're trying to use a Microsoft product on a Mac.
Those guys don't get along.

It would most definitely be a driver problem.
