I'm not an expert, Duh is. Do what he said, re-install somewhere other than the default filepath, and then replace your settings.ini with the one he gave you.

Well, google 7zip, and use that to open the archive Duh gave you, browsers aren't supposed to open archives by themselves.

Do you still have the installer file? Reinstall to another location and copy it over.

When a crash is caused by a mod, the game gives an error report which (should) point to a problem line in one of the mod's .inis.

Because a mod causes the crash, I've already told you. Get a screenie of the error and fork it over.
