I got CC a while back and fell in love. The one day I'm BSing around one of the scene editors I believe and I end up deleting something, still not sure what. Long story short I get an error message and now whenever I try to open it I get:

Abortion in file .\System.\Reader.cpp Line 534
Failed to include Data File in Base.rte/scenes.ini at like 215!
Last frame has been dumped to 'abortscreen.bmp'


This means nothing to me. I bought CC for I think $15 or $18 and was wondering if there's anyway I could get a patch or a mod or something to clear this up or am I stuck buying the game yet again?

Delete your old folder and reinstall, should clear it right up.

But the only way to reinstall it would be to buy it again right?

No, just run the setup file again.

And if you bought it form the site you should have received a key, so use that key to reactivate the game.
