Windows 7 x64 crash
Alright so im running windows 7 x64, and every time i run cortex command the game will start, I will get to the intro screen where it tells me i can use alt+enter to go to fullscreen, but from there my screen goes black and my computer stops responding (even using ctrl alt delete or alt tab). ive already attempted to move the file to the desktop to no avail, and I attempted compatibility mode and no changes. however just once my computer did recover and I got a very odd message which read: display driver has stopped responding and has recovered. now i was a little confused as i had read in several other tech posts that cortex command does not use my gpu. i did try downgrading my graphics driver to a few lower versions (ati/amd 10.12,10.11,10.10) but they all seem to do the same thing. any ideas on what I can do to fix this? ive been a follower of cortex command and just picked it up again after a long hiatus back when I was using xp.
my specs amd phenom 9850 x4 2.5ghz soundblaster x-fi xtremegamer 4gb ddr2 800 mhz ram windows 7 x64 professional amd radeon hd 5770

Re: Windows 7 x64 crash
Whilst CC does use your GPU, it does not exploit it as such. Apart from this, I am not sure how you would fix such a problem. Try opening Task Manager when you start CC to see if it does anything interesting before locking up.

From what you're discribing, it looks like you're having computer-side troubles with running things fullscreen. Can you run anything else fullscreen?

Re: Windows 7 x64 crash
OK sorry to double post but i fixed it.... just changed in the base.rte file in setting; the fullscreen modifier was 0 so i just change it to 1 and now it works? i have no idea why a window would not work vs full screen but whatever....
