Post CC Crashes when opening Command Menu
[SOLVED] - A Gamecon USB controller hub was causing the problem. Unplugged and TADA, CC works.

I bought the Humble Indie Bundle several hours ago, and since then I have spent around 2 hours trying to get CC to not crash when bringing up the Command Menu.
I have tried reinstalling, running in compatibility mode, and several other compatibility settings but to no avail. I have also googled around to see if anyone else was having this problem, but found nothing besides some post from two years ago that didn't help. I'd really like to play the game, so if anyone has any suggestions, let me know. Computer stats below.

Laptop - Asus N51vf
Intel Core 2 Duo T9550 @2.66
nVidia GeForce GT 130M
Windows 7 64-bit

Command menu as in the Pie menu? Or the Purchase Catalog?

Also, did it give an error? What does your abortscreen.bmp look like?

Are you using any mods?

The Pie menu. When I right click (default player 1 settings) I see the Pie menu start to load and then it freezes and I get a Cortex Command has stopped working error (The normal Windows error message when something stops working).

What do you mean by abortscreen.bmp?

I'm not using any mods.

I'm stumped. This might just be a legitimate problem.

Well dang. I guess I'll keep messing with things, but it doesn't look too hopeful right now. If I manage to get it fixed I'll post about what I did.

I do believe it's an actual problem. I get a few hangups when accessing the pie menu while a skirmish is going on.

First, thank you whoever moved this to the right forum

Second, I found my problem. I have a Gameon USB Hub that has slots for a Gamecube, a PS, and a XBox controller, which while plugged causes CC to crash upon right clicking. So I just need to remember to unplug it before playing. Not that big of deal.

Now I'm going to go figure out how to play...
