 CC doesn't always shut down properly

Post CC doesn't always shut down properly
It lingers around in process list of taskman, hogging memory.
RTE abortion seems to cause this, maybe other things like closing the app from X in windowed mode.

Anyone know how to avoid this?

You can't as far as I know. CC is not known for very good memory conservation and proper unmounting of resources it has allocated.
Avoid RTE abortions if you can, and end the process in Task manager if it does crash.
