So I recently received a nice and unique error message when I tried to start CC. I actually don't expect any help because I'm 90% sure it's a problem with my computer, but just in case somebody has seen this before I'm posting it.



PS: I am most certainly not attempting to run the game from a read only disc It's a normal install; all the files are in /Cortex Command in Program Files.

Try moving it to desktop if you are using W7/WV

I'm using XP but i'll try it anyways

Are you launching the game from the actual icon or are you launching it from windows explorer?

Lol I've tried launching it every possible way. That's like the first thing I did.

Try backing up and deleting your Settings.ini or otherwise get a new one.
