Post [UNANSWERED] So... what if the game runs too smooth?
Right now I have the problem the game constantly plays at about 555 FPS (thats what CTRL + P says), even though I read that cortex command is capped at 60 fps.

Not only does it play incredibly smooth, but it also seems to be a bit... too fast at times.
Nothing too noticeable seeing it's constantly fast but it's just annoying that some things can race you by while on other computers it's ... slow.

Not to mention that EVERYTHING gibs.
I mean, if I touch a wall I'm lucky it doesn't break on me. (Mud-floors etc.)
Enemies and pretty much anything with a death state just explodes into a bloody pile of gore, not showing a ragdoll effect of any kind as I've seen on youtube vids...

... any ideas what I should do?

Logically.

But that doesn't change anything at all
It just makes the fps die immediatly the moment the area gets too populated.

You need to adjust your delta time in Base.rte/Settings.ini

Read this excellent guide, applying the appropriate settings to increase load as opposed to decrease it.

In particular, you'll basically want to lower your deltatime by increments until you're happy with the load.
Also, try pressing the 1 and 2 keys to adjust timescale ingame.

... and how do I fix the 'splatter-gib-splush' bug that just makes all enemies pop and explode on death...?

I don't remember that being there in the older versions.

So after setting delta time to CAP the fps at 30 (Even though it says it still renders at 250 fps (O.o), the enemies still blow up. (It shows it's rendering at 100 fps in game. I tried setting delta to 0.005 and as much as 0.999 but neither fixed the gibbing problem.)

More notabley, they also gib when bleeding out (Lower than 5 hp they usually just randomly blow up.)
