Hello thanks for any help in advance .

Now before you jump on me about this I have used the search function and read many helpful posts on the subject but I havent found one with the same problem as mine or atleast a solution .

Like most people I get bored of only defending against the default characters in the game , so I looked up how to add mods as the enemy . Now I have added "//" infront of missions.rte/index.ini/includefile = skirmishactivities.ini , I have also removed the "//" from the Mod.rte/index.ini/includefile = activities.ini just like it says on the wiki and in many other posts .

Everything loads fine up until the point I start the skirmish then I get and error and the game shutsdown . I have build 23 and have checked many posts and wiki and all they say is to do what I have already done .

Welcome to the forums!

But, you made quite a few mistakes.

missions.rte/index.ini/includefile = skirmishactivities.ini
includefile = missions.rte/skirmishactivities.ini

The filepath may not be entirely accurate, I am not sure where it actually is.

Sometimes searching the forums isn't the only thing you should do.
You could have checked any of the ini's for this information.
The Wiki also has useful information. Make sure to search that as well.

thanks for the reply went back and checked and I had posted the wrong directory in my last post , I did add "//" infront of IncludeFIle = missions.ini/SkirmishActivites.ini and I always get an error .

I have checked the wiki but it says for b23 all you must do remove "//" from IncludeFile = mod.rte/index.ini/activities.ini , then add "//" to the previously stated directory .

Thank you its a great game and I am happy to be here me and my wife are just looking for more of a challenge or atleast a little more variety .
